Can sea moss gel be eaten by itself?

Because sea moss gel should be watered down (it is highly concentrated), we don’t recommend eating it by itself. For the best mineral absorption and taste, sea moss gel should be diluted.

How much sea moss should be used?

For ideal taste and benefits, mix 2 tablespoons with at least 12 ounces of liquid.

Is sea moss considered a pain reliever?

Yes! When applied topically and taken internally, sea moss is wonderful for pain relief.

What does sea moss gel taste like?

Pure sea moss gel (no infusion) has an ocean-like “essence”. Sea moss with different infusions (bladderwrack & burdock root, black seed oil, aloe vera) come with their own unique taste, but are hardly noticeable in smoothies or other flavored beverages.

For how long will my sea moss gel stay fresh?

Refrigerated sea moss gel stays fresh for 5 – 6 weeks.

Should I refrigerate my sea moss gel when it arrives?

Yes. Warming may have occurred during the shipping process, but don’t worry. Sea moss doesn’t age like normal food products. Put it in the refrigerator when it arrives and begin use the next morning. Keep refrigerated between uses.

Lion’s mane:
Lion’s mane mushrooms contain bioactive substances that have beneficial effects on the body, especially the brain, heart and gut.

Lion’s mane mushrooms, also known as hou tou gu or yamabushitake, are large, white, shaggy mushrooms that resemble a lion’s mane as they grow.

Lion’s mane mushrooms can be enjoyed raw, cooked, dried or steeped as a tea. Their extracts often used in over-the-counter health supplements.

Are there any side effects of taking sea moss?

Sea moss is associated with two key risks.

You could consume too much iodine. Too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing, as is the case with iodine. In fact, endocrinologists advise against taking iodine supplements unless specifically indicated by your doctor, as they may actually have a negative effect on your thyroid.

It contains heavy metals. Yikes! Seaweed is known to absorb heavy metals from the water in which it grows. It’s not toxic in small amounts, but you definitely don’t want to overdo it on seaweed consumption.
